PartyPataaka is run by PARTY PATAAKA, Prem Nagar, Dehradun, Uttarakhand 248007 ("we", "us"). We help you plan and book events in and around Dehradun: concerts, weddings, baby showers, proposal setups, birthdays, corporate events, Baraat on Wheels and add-ons such as fog, lights, SFX, cold pyro and photography.

We plan and coordinate your event. The on-ground services (tent, sound, DJ, decor, lighting, effects, photography and similar) are delivered by independent Verified Partners that we select and coordinate for you.

Sending a booking request on this website, by WhatsApp or by email does not create a booking. It only asks us to check availability and prepare a quote. Sending a request is free.

A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you in writing (WhatsApp or email) with the final scope and price, and the deposit described below has been received. Until then, dates, Verified Partners and prices are not reserved.

Prices and ranges on the website ("Starting from", package tiers and add-ons) are indicative. They help you compare options; they are not offers or final quotes.

Your final price depends on the date, venue, guest count, travel, permissions, the exact setup you choose and availability. It is set out in your written quote. Prices are in Indian rupees; GST and other taxes apply as shown in the quote.

• A deposit of 25% of the quoted total confirms your booking.
• The balance is due 7 days before the event, unless your quote says otherwise.
• Pay only through the payment methods we give you in writing. We will never ask you to pay a Verified Partner's personal account unless we confirm it in writing.
• If the balance is not paid on time, we may treat the booking as cancelled by you (see Cancellation and refunds).

If you cancel a confirmed booking, tell us in writing. What we refund depends on how far ahead you cancel:

• 45 days or more before the event: everything you have paid is refunded.
• 30 to 44 days before the event: 50% of the total amount you have paid is refunded.
• 15 to 29 days before the event: 25% of the total amount you have paid is refunded.
• Less than 15 days before the event: nothing is refunded.

Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within 15–20 working days. Costs already incurred for your event on your written approval (for example custom decor or printed material) may be deducted, and we will show you what they are.

If we have to cancel a confirmed booking for reasons within our control and cannot offer a suitable replacement that you accept, we refund everything you have paid.

You can ask to move a confirmed booking to a new date if you ask at least 15 days before the event. We will try to keep the same setup and Verified Partners; if the new date costs more (for example peak wedding season) the price may change. You can reschedule once and keep your deposit; after that, a reschedule counts as a cancellation and a new booking.

Your event is delivered by independent Verified Partners that we select, brief and coordinate. They are not our employees. We stay your point of contact before and on the day, and we will help resolve any problem with the service you booked.

We may replace a Verified Partner with another of similar standard if the original one becomes unavailable. We will tell you if that happens.

• Give us accurate details: date, timings, venue, guest count and contact numbers. Changes can affect the price and what is possible.
• Make sure the venue gives access for setup and pack-down at the agreed times, with safe access, a suitable power supply and space for the equipment.
• Obtain the permissions your event needs from the venue and local authorities (for example for amplified sound, timings, outdoor events or effects such as cold pyro), unless your quote says we will arrange them.
• Keep your guests safe and well-behaved, and follow the safety instructions of the crew, especially around stages, cables, lighting and effects.
• You are responsible for damage to equipment or decor caused by you or your guests, other than normal wear.

We take reasonable care in planning your event and choosing Verified Partners. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect losses (such as loss of enjoyment beyond the service booked, travel costs of guests or loss of opportunity). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, epidemics, government orders or restrictions, curfews, strikes or power failures at the venue. If such an event prevents your event from going ahead, we will offer you a new date or a refund of the amounts paid, less costs already incurred for your event that cannot be recovered.

We and our Verified Partners may take photos and videos of the setup at your event (stage, decor, lighting, effects) and use them to show our work on our website and social media. We do not publish close-ups of identifiable guests without consent, and you can ask us in writing, before or after the event, not to use material from your event at all.

If you book photography or videography, the delivery and use of those photos and videos is described in your quote.

The website's text, design, logos, photos and videos belong to PARTY PATAAKA or are used with permission. You may share links to the website, but you may not copy or reuse its content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

We use the details you give us (name, phone, email, event details) to answer your request, plan and deliver your event and contact you about it. We share them only with the Verified Partners working on your event and with service providers we need to run the website, and we do not sell them. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your details by contacting us below.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that we cannot resolve together is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Dehradun, Uttarakhand, without affecting any right you have to approach a consumer disputes forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page on the day you send a request applies to that request, and your confirmed booking keeps the terms that applied when it was confirmed, unless you agree otherwise.
